One of the best ways to track your fitness is to use a scale. That way you can track how much weight your gaining and compare it to how much your eating. If you've been eating to many snacks you might have gained a few pounds. However if you've started working out alot recently , it could also be muscle.

Take a front a side picture of yourself. This is my personal favorite! You stand in front of the mirror make sure you have proper posture and take those pics. Front and back.
