The Importance of Having An Accountability Partner



Sometimes getting your butt out of bed and trying to workout is such a drag. It can seem really tough to push yourself on those gloomy days. Going with a friend is WAY more fun! There is so much power in finding a workout buddy to hold you accountable. It really works. Follow these steps to help find yourself the perfect accountability buddy.


Where to Start

It may not always be so easy to find a workout buddy or that might not just be a possibility because of certain circumstances. Still FIND THAT BUDDY!! This person could still be your accountability manager or encourager. You need this person for all aspects of your life. Also it still works if you find someone with different interests than you. Make a plan with them, and each of you lay out a plan with what you are trying to accomplish. Set goals with each other and help push each other along the way.




Reasons I Love Having a Buddy

  1. You dont want to be that one friend who bails all the time.

  2. Working-out with a buddy ensures accountability and gives you a personal cheerleader.

  3. It creates friendly competition

  4. It can greatly strengthen your current relationships

  5. It forces you to keep trying by having that partner they hold you accountable
