Are you drinking enough water?

How often do you feel tired or out of energy? Do you have dry skin, pee dark yellow, have frequent headaches, frequent muscle cramps, dry mouth or are just plain thirsty all the time? If so you might be dehydrated and not consuming enough water.




Did you know that when your body doesnt have enough water that your body has to work harder to pump blood. This can cause a series of problems resulting in poor athletic performance and may adversely affect your health. Even only being Dehydrated up to 2% of your body weight can severly affect ones cardiovascular health.


So what can you do to prevents injuries and future health problems from dehydration. Its simple drink more high quality H20. Weather its a training day or an off day you should always start off your day by drinking 16-24 ounces of water. You should also consume around 8 ounces before any workouts, and be drinking 8 ounces every 15 minutes until workout is over. Also drinking enough water after working out is crucial, so make sure to drink 8 ounces for every pound lost during exercise.
